Skydiving in Phoenix, AZ

Posted by: astewart

Today I went skydiving to start 2009 off right! It was a crazy but short ride. My brother and I jumped at 10,000 feet (about 2 miles up) and free fell for 5,000 feet before opening the chute opened. The free fall was a huge rush traveling at 120 mph and then the other 5,000 feet was really peaceful and quite with the chute open. Best of both worlds in my opinion. Unfortunately I didn't get any pics or video. We watched them making the video for the couple before us and it was worth about $5 instead of the $90 they wanted. Oh well, I plan on doing it again!

New Flash!

Posted by: astewart

I received my Alien Bee flash this week and got a chance to take it to a shoot. Really amazing equipment and great price as well. I took some bridal portraits of a friend and will post them after the wedding so her Fiance doesn't get a peek at her dress. The flashes are mandatory for any photographer that wants to get perfect lighting.

Two Views Photography Seminar

Posted by: astewart

I went to Houston, Texas this past Monday, to learn from to great photographers. Joe Buissink from Beverly Hills, California and Yervant from Melbourne, Australia discussed different techniques throughout the wedding day as well as some cool post production techniques through Photoshop. I thoroughly enjoyed learning from two of the world's leading photographers. Below are two pictures of them teaching and then below are two photos I took there and then applied the Photoshop techniques to those photos.
